Register as a Vendor

In its efforts to become more environmentally friendly, the Procurement Division utilizes an electronic bidding system, Planet Bids.  Vendors wishing to conduct business with the District must register as a vendor by clicking on the Planet Bids icon below.  Vendors that register will be notified by email for posted solicitations in accordance to the commodity codes that the vendor has chosen to register under.  It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to maintain its vendor portal and contact information.

Surplus

Surplus Property Donations

From time to time, the District identifies surplus property that is no longer needed for District operations. At the District’s discretion, surplus property may be made available for donation to eligible non-profit organizations.

Non-profit organizations interested in being considered for future surplus property donations are encouraged to complete the Surplus Property Donation Application and submit the completed form via email to mtrujillo@rcsd.org.

While priority consideration may be given to organizations whose mission and services align with the District’s public service objectives, the District will make reasonable efforts to provide equitable opportunities among eligible non-profit organizations included on the District’s approved donation list.

Submission of an application or inclusion on the District’s non-profit donation list does not guarantee receipt of surplus property. Donations will be considered based on property availability, suitability of the item for the requesting organization, organizational need, and applicable District policies and procedures.

How to Request Surplus Property

Eligible non-profit organizations interested in receiving available surplus property donations may complete the Surplus Property Donation Application and submit the completed application via email to mtrujillo@rcsd.org.

Applications will be maintained on the District’s approved non-profit donation list and considered when surplus property becomes available. The District reserves the right to determine the appropriate disposition of surplus property based on operational needs, property condition, applicable laws, and District policies.

All surplus property donations are provided "as-is" and without warranty or guarantee of condition, usability, or continued functionality. The receiving organization is responsible for all costs associated with removal, transportation, and acceptance of donated property.

The District reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the surplus property donation program at any time and may determine an alternative method of disposal when deemed appropriate.
